Well in the name of fairness we have once again reset all the chars and items. This desision was made solely my AdminSpank. I did not talk about this to anyone and the server has been down for a few days now due to this. The desision was made to remove all items, stats, & pc points from all chars. Due to the fact this has to be done one char at a time not once but twice and due to my limited time to be able to get this job done thru the week it did take much longer then expected this time. Never the less the job is done. Now to explain to why we did this yet again. Some people here had items that they should not  have been able to get yet . So i asked all GMs and other Admins if anyone had given out items yet. The responces were all negitive they did not give out items. So we ask how does that happen do we have hacker amoungst us ? Well we know how to find out or should i say I now how to find out . Security to this server is my biggest issue to keep up to date. So we did this roll back again of sorts. We did not delet your accounts or your chars just the items and stats and the pc points. The reason for this was because it was this or we delet all accounts and chars again we did not want to do that if we did not have to. We did feel the need to do this to keep the playing field even and for secuity reasons . As some of you noticed the Items in ST have been dropped to +6 instead of +13. I must admit the reports that came to me after we made those changes about that change being Un-Fair that  is also a very big part of why we did this again. We do hear you . If you are upset about this you must ask yourself if you are responsable for these actions we are taking just because you complain about the  Un-Fairness of others having better items. The answer to that question is yes you are. Not just once but twice we now have done a roll back like this out of the need of Fairness. First it was 5 socket items now it is +13 items. So maybe you all should think before you start shouting out about whats fair and whats not fair. Tho i personally dont care how many times we loose our items from all the screaming and shouting about it i think most you feel differantly. Some of you would say to us do you know how much time and money it takes to get  the items and the resets we have. And we say yes indeed we do. But let me make this clear to you all this server is paid for and run by AdminSpank and his Staff  and No-One is Paying us a dime for items or to be in this server helping you with your issues. I am a 49 year old male with 7 others living in my my home and i am the soul provider for my home. There for i have little time for the game these days. I spend most of my gamming time helping members with thier issues and editting and rarely have actual game play time. So as to fairness to me that just does not seem fair that when i get online within 2 mins everyone expects me to help them and i do for the most part without complaint as it is a part of my duty to the server. Yet the rule breaker would have you think that the MuVenom Staff is un-fair and that we do not care. And all we can say to that is the truth is yes we can be un-fair at times and some times we can even make mistakes. We do our best to be fair and make this a fun server for evreyone. We talked to most of you in game before we started down this road so you all knew what was comming. It would seem to be your duty to the server as a member of MuVenom is to accept the changes you all have asked for and not be complaining to any one who will listen and posting begger type post asking for items back when you know as well as we do that we are all suffering from the same losses. That kind of act from any member does not make it any easier for any of us and in my eyes is disrespectful. So we should favor one of you over every one else because you post and say please and that is why you would have us go right back to where we where before all this started but you will be the one on top even if it is un-fair to everyone else right ? In the mean time as you all know we have made other changes to our server as well. This is an attemp to help keep things interesting and having things to do besides just PKing newbies for fun. There are other changes that we have made in the server to many to list here. So for all the changes you will need to join and investigate our server. Do us all a favor and dont start asking (why why why) just accept our server and the way it is or go find anohter server to play in. There are alot of changes you have not seen yet i am still editting. The Game Server will be back on line when the editting is completed. Hope to see you all there again. If you deside not re-join us then we wish you a smooth journey on the road of life.

Due to things happening in our server we have desided to start all over again. What does that mean you ask. That means all accounts all items all stats and all chars will be gone. Every member of MuVenom will start at the begining 0 resets and no items everyone will have to re-make accounts and chars they want. All Admin, GM and FM accounts and chars are reserved. Anyone caught trying to take a Admins, a GMs, or a FMs account or char will be banned permanetly and folks this aint no joke dont do it all accounts are traced by IP so we will now if the right person has created that account and char. We apologize to all of our newest members and a special apology goes to our very newest members from our cloning efforts. We hope to see you all on the other side of this adventure in the road of the life of MuVenom. We want you all to know that yes we know you spend your money to play this game and what you need to keep in mind is that it also takes money to run this server and without the donation center open that is the sole responsabilty of Administrator (The Spankster)  and it is not cheap. So yes we will loose but then will we ? This will be a real test of our MuVenom Spirit. We are not all about the items the stats and the resets or even the money. Its a family we have here and until you can understand and accept that you really do not belong here at MuVenom. We respect each other and try to help each other.   MuVenom is not the best server nor the biggest but we are family and we will survive and grow stronger day by day .

Well we have been asked to post this in the news by the members so here it is . Santa Town Invitations cost 29900 pc points each. Each invitation can be used only one time no matter what is says. In Santa Town you will find 8 differant NPC selling a variety of FO items that cost alot of zen. Be sure before going to Santa Town to have max zen and have some fairly good items to sell to replenish your zen when u have spent it all buying the items in Santa Town. To avoid the issue of DCing when going to Santa Town and possibly loosing your Santa Town invitation we recommend that you warp to CryWolf and back to Lorencia a time or two just to be sure that there are no server DC issues and that you can warp in and out of the Castle Siedge server before actually useing your invitation to go to Santa Town. This needs to be done because Santa Town is on the Castle Siedge server and not the main server.

We have a new GM lets all give a warm welcome to GM Rave. We beleave Rave will be a very good GM for MuVenom and very helpful to you all . Also we have given LATTE Full Moderator access to the MuVenom Forum. LATTE we as in every member of MuVenom could not thank you enough for the work you do and the help to give to all the members of MuVenom while in game and thru your efforts in our forum. This is to notify you all that in 30 days we will be removing the Ichigo and DeathGod sets from this server. If you won ether one of those sets from an event at the begining of the year we sry to have to do this but there have been many complaints about the strength of those 2 sets. So at this time we feel it prudent to remove the sets from the server. So for the next 30 days if you have an ichigo set or a DeathGod set this is your chance to have it exchanged for another set. All sets to be exchanged will go thru Hades NO exceptions. Failure to exchange you set before time runs out will be your own fault and we will not replace after the 30 day time limit. So get your set excahnged before that or you will join the ranks of you snooze you looze!!!  This is a subect that we will not change our minds about so dont waist your time and ours by asking us to reconsider. We Will Not!!! This is an issue that will not be put to a vote as our members have have communicated to us the Un-Fairness of these sets in duels and PVP/PK events so this is a final dession.

We have taken our client downloads off line until further notice due to the DCing and other issues we are haveing with the client and server.

We have heard from alot of you saying your DCing from the server even with the No Sound client. We may have found yet another reason why you may be DCing from our server. If you play in ANY other server with sound and then come into our server without making any adjustments to your settings. It is just like the way your name stays in when ever you join any other server. If your sound in the other server is turned on when you are in any other server then it will be turned on when you join MuVenom if you do not turn it off before joining. So use your launcher and Turn Off Your Sound Before joining MuVenom. We do not know for sure that this is the problem. To those of you who do play in other servers with sound this is where we need your help. We would like you to try turning off your sound before joining to see if that helps with your DC issues here. Please report back to us with the results good, bad or no change at all. We cannot do this test ourselves so with out your help this issue may very well go un-resolved for quite some time. I Spankster personaly do not have a DC issue and i use the same exact client that is available for DL. Both the clients with sound and the No Sound client are the same exact client just one has the sound files and one does not.

Well we have found an issue with CS server. We are not sure what is causing this issue. But we beleave we have found out how to fix it. The issue is when warping to or from CryWolf, Loren or any where in the CS server you DC when warping from the main server to the CS server and also from the CS server back the main server. We have tested a few different things to fix this issue and found that if you delete your char and re-make it that seems to fix the issue. Now DO NOT just delete your char if you are having this issue contact Hades, EricaFox or Spankster before deleting your char. This way we can look up your Stats and resets so that we can put your char back to where it is after you delete and re-make your char. You will need to remove all items from your char that you wish to keep before deleting you char all items left on char or in char inv will be deleted when char is re-made.

What Happens if you do not contact us B4 you Delete?

Failure to contact us before you delete your char You WILL loose all resets and stats and have to start your char all over.

YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!

Contect us before you delete and re-make your char or its all on you and we will not be able to help you.

First let us thank each and everyone of you who attended the meeting. It was a very good meeting and we accomplished much. Before we get to the results we have some thing to say to you that we would like you to put into your thought process as you read the results of the meeting. Why are you here ? To play a game correct ? If you are here to play then why would you not want to have as much to do as possible? 

Now to the results of the meeting. The first item on the list which cozed this meeting in the first place. SD potions in our NPC Shops sry people but they will not be returning to the NPC shops. Its not all bad news for you SD potion users. SD potions can be made. So we have made that pretty easy for you. Let us explain if you take 3 small or medium AG potions in a stack of 3 and put them into the chaos machine you can make sd potions. 3 small ag potions if successful will make 1 med sd potion and 3 med ag potions will make 1 large sd potion and for your convience we have added small and med ag potions to the npc shop in the lorencia bar. Also agreed on was for admin to make the effort to put SD potions in the pc point at the price of 10 lg sd potions in a stack +0 for the small amount of 30,000 pc points each. So we actaully coverd 2 issues right there AG and SD potions. Next issue was the lack of summoner weapons in santa town we added those for you. Next was season 1 sets in santa town we have had people asking for season 1 sets to be added to santa town so we came up with this idea we will add season 1 sets to santa town but due to our limited room we will have to rotate the sets in and out of santa town. We where asked how often the rotation would be and our answer to that is at this time we plan to rotate the season 1 sets in and out every 30 days or so. We talked about pc points adding them to blood castel and making all mobs giving the same amount of points 4 points each for all mobs.  We talked about the DC issues plz see the other posts in the news for about DCing from server they will tell you what to do and it will fix it as best as it will be for now. And you all should know this too that yes indeed there will be some items for donators only because tho this is a game it is also not free to run this server. So we ask that you try to understand that donators will indeed have the chance to have the best FO items in the game. But also know this that all items will be availible for you just not all FO items will be availible to the general public.

We have released a new client the noth with and with out sound. If you have any DC issues with the server please use your launcher and go to options and uncheck the sound and music boxes. In this release we have not added anything new what we did here was compare server files to client files and fix any mis-matches that where there. We hope that this will reduce conflict between the client and server and in turn lessin the amount of the DC issues we are experencing now . Here is the easy way to collect Zen. In Lorencia Bar Lumen has Rudolf for sale buy one and equip it. You will equip your Rudolf just like you would your Fen or Imp. As you go out playing and killing mobs and Zen drops around you  your Rudolf will collect your Zen for you as you play.

We have edited all our NPC Shops most items in the npc shops are excellent items with fair options on them.  BUT Here it is what you all have been asking for with a little twist of our own on it. Some of you playing on other servers may already have heard of this Santas Village/Town. If you have then you know what we are speaking of here if not let us explain. Santas Village/Town is a new area/map that you can only get into with a Santa Town invatation. There are 8 New NPC Shops in Santa Town and they are the key to getting your FO Sets and some items. ONLY the  NPC Shops in Santa Town have FO Sets and Items for sale. And they are NOT cheap so be sure to have MAX ZEN when entering Santa Town. So now that we are all on the same page and know what Santa Town  is and what exactly is in there you are asking. How the Heck do i get in there please get to it. Well Here it is in the PC Shop we have added the Santa Town Invatation you can buy it for 29900 PC points. The Santa Town Invatation is good for 1 use ONLY so every time you want to go to Santa Town you will need another invatation. Again Be sure to have MAX ZEN things are NOT CHEAP in Santa Town if you waist your time and your PC Points by going in without enough zen please do not ask us to help you we will not you have been warned. Play Smarter not Harder!!! You may be asking why should it be so expensive to get into  Santa Town. The bottum line is we want our members to be active in our server so we offer our active members who really want to play and be active the chance to get the FO items. We had a big event on Feb 7th 2010 at 2pm philippine time. Actually we had 4 events we had word scramble, Unicorn races, and a Dinorant race and our main event the last Name that Set event which was a hide and seek and the Set needing to be named was the Name6 set now known as the SCRAPYCOCO set. The main winner for each one of the other events won a FO set. The big winner for the word scramble was Wildthing won with the most correct answers, Next was the Unicorn races and BKwagon took the FO Set there by winning the most races, and then came the Dinorant race when Freshmen pulled out all the stops and took the winners circle and the FO Set. Last but certainly not least of all The winners of The  Name That Set are as follows.

Well it is official we have finally after one and half years of work setting up this server reached one of our main goals. The server has run for one full week with out any restarts. This is a very exciting step for us as it has been a loooong time comming. We cannot promise that this server will not go down again but we can promise to do our best to keep the servering as close to 24-7 as possible. We are doing some server editting and will need to restart the server from time to time and we will come into the server to let you know when we are in need of a restart. There will be no more client updates unless absolutely needed until after the begining of the new year and hopefully even longer.

It has not a been a good second or third week for the server up time. Guess we opend our mouth and inserted foot. Ever sense the announcement above we have had allot of server issues be it us or our isp we have had allot of issues from power failures, server failures and other issues. We are doing our best to get it all worked out but with the main Admin off line for a week due to personal issues we will not talk about here that did not help any in fixing server issues.  However the main Admin is back online now and working hard to get everthing straightened out. Hello All,

Well its not been getting any better this week. We have had power outtages due to heavy storms in our area. We have a login issue that has been on the rise this week too. We are and will keep working on these issues. We know it is not easy to support a server that continues have these types of issues . So again we would like to thank you all for your support, patients, dedication and understanding thru these difficult times. And a small reminder about this server even tho we are a public server this server is and will remain under consctruction until we have ironed out all of our issues. The one and best thing we can say about MuVenom is that MuVenom Our Server and our stance on MuVenom is Like it or Leave it because this is our server and we accept it for what it is. 

Well the last update was Dec 13th 2009. So its about time we let you all know that indeed we are now a 24-7 server. We will have some server issues we are working on and our donation center is still not online. We hope your patients for MuVenom is not running out. We know we are very slow at getting things done. What we want you to understand is that we take security as a big issue here and we want to be sure once you have given us a donation that ifno will not be lost no matter what happens to our server. So to get it right the first time it is for us a very long proceess and we once again thank you all for your dedication.
